Alcohol, drug and mental health

Overview

The Alcohol, drug and mental health program, run by the Nindilingarri Cultural Health Services, was created in 2007 to replace the Sobering-up shelter in Fitzroy Crossing, Western Australia. The centre provides alcohol and other drug health promotion and a treatment team who work to provide communities in the area with information around the effects of alcohol and other drug use on physical health, mental health, men, women, children and families.
