Providing the evidence base to reduce harmful AOD use in
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
BushMob residential service is a program for young people, aged between 12 and 24 years, who want to get their lives back on track free of alcohol and other drugs including volatile substances. Participants are required to undergo an alcohol and other drugs assessment and medical check-up.
The program runs from 10 days to 2 months with the option of a support person who can stay with the young person for the duration of their stay. The program provides 24 hour care, case management, counselling, brief interventions, life skills development, and promotes education and training and positive life choices.
