Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation

 

Overview

Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation providing primary health care services to the people of the Tennant Creek and Barkly region of the Northern Territory (NT).

Anyinginyi also has the responsibility of delivering primary health care services to the surrounding 12 remote outstations located within a 100km radius of Tennant Creek. Within the Barkly Region, regional and remote outreach services are provided to the small community townships of:

and other minor occupied communities and homelands such as:

Anyinginyi is funded under the Tackling Indigenous Smoking (TIS) program to deliver smoking cessation activities in their region. The Anyinginyi TIS team is based within the Public Health Unit.
