Health Matters

 

Overview

Health Matters is a radio program that focuses on positive promotion of health matters to Aboriginal people in Western Australia (WA), with input from Aboriginal and other health professionals. The radio program has been developed as a result of a partnership between Noongar Radio and WA Health.

This radio resource is aired weekly on Noongar Radio for Aboriginal people living in Western Australia (WA). Each program aims to provide information on a specific health topics. Topics covered have included diabetes, smoking, immunisation, maternal health and sexual health.

Each program is less than one hour long and can be listened to through the WA Department of Health's website.
