Binar Sports

Overview

Binar Sports aims to use basketball to provide access and support for young people to engage in sport and other capacity building opportunities in Western Australia. Their focus is on involving disadvantaged young people (12-18 years) to participate in basketball activities, including training and competitions and to be healthy, active, happy and engaged within the community. The word ‘Binar’ comes from the Noongar word for meteor.

Binar Sports is a not for profit, community based program that grew from the Midnight Basketball Program. The expansion of the program has allowed competitors to compete at State championship level.
