Smoking Cessation Program (Nindilingarri Cultural Health Services)

 

Overview

The aim of the Smoking Cessation Program, run by the Nindilingarri Cultural Health Services, is to provide an integrated, holistic and culturally appropriate service to the families of the Fitzroy Valley in Western Australia.

The health promotion officer works with communities to develop and implement anti-smoking initiatives. The program delivers education for the families of the Fitzroy Valley around the harmful effects of tobacco and supports people to stop smoking.
