Tobacco and Healthy Lifestyles

Overview

The Tobacco and Healthy Lifestyles program aims to help people on Ngaanyatjarra Lands, in Western Australia, reduce their risk of chronic disease by reducing smoking and tobacco use and increasing exercise and improving nutrition.

This program employs local Yarnangu (Ngaanyatjarra people) to deliver community education and activities and to act as healthy lifestyle 'champions' in their community.
