Independent Living Program

Overview

The Independent Living Program, provided by Drug and Alcohol Services Association (DASA) in Alice Springs, Northern Territory, allows clients and their families to live in self-contained apartments while receiving support from a DASA Case Worker.

Residents in the program enter a lease agreement, and are responsible for paying for their power bills, food, and taking care of the premises, with the aim of modelling life in the community as closely as possible.

It is the final stage of the rehabilitation services offered by DASA.
