Gindaja Treatment and Healing Centre

 

Overview

Gindaja Treatment and Healing Centre is a 19-bed hostel that caters for men and women in Yarrabah, north Queensland,  who are experiencing problems with alcohol and other drugs (AOD). The centre offers a number of programs to both residential and day clients. Gindaja Treatment and Healing Centre offers a holistic approach to the treatment and recovery of clients, and provides ongoing support and care.

Programs include:

 Gindaja caters for both individuals and couples aged over 18 years old, with a set fee charged for board and lodging. Admissions are accepted by referrals from individuals, family members, Queensland Indigenous Alcohol Diversion Program (QIADP), Magistrates Court, Local Community Court and health organisations. Please note that admissions are only accepted between Monday and Thursday during normal office hours (9am - 5pm).
