Providing the evidence base to reduce harmful AOD use in
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
The Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara lands (APY Lands) substance misuse service provides a range of treatment programs for the Anangu people who live or come from the APY Lands, of South Australia, and are experiencing problems caused by alcohol and other drug use. The service provides assessment and treatment for people who use petrol, alcohol, cannabis and other drugs.
While some people self-refer, other referrals come from the community and government and non-government community services.
