GoldfieldsYouth Support Service (GYSS)

Overview

The Goldfields Youth Support Service (GYSS), provided by Centrecare Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, is a service for young people who may be at risk due to a number of factors including: family conflict, truancy, alcohol and other drug use including volatile substances, poor social skills, and isolation from their peers.

GYSS works with young people and supports them to connect with appropriate support services, family members, peers and their communities using positive approaches that build on their skills and abilities.
