It’s Your Choice! Have a Voice! Rights, Respect, Responsibility 2013

It's Your Choice! Have a Voice! Rights, Respect, Responsibility 2013 was a sexual, reproductive health and alcohol and other drug campaign run by the Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council of New South Wales (AH&MRC) for Aboriginal communities throughout New South Wales (NSW).

Hosted by the AH&MRC and Indigenous Hip-Hop Projects, the campaign featured a mix of hip-hop and salsa dance workshops, song writing and recording workshops, and community deadly styles dance performances - all aimed at helping to empower young Aboriginal people to make informed choices about their sexual and reproductive health, as well as related alcohol and other drug issues.

Funded by the NSW Ministry of Health, a number of It's Your Choice! Have a Voice! roadshows were rolled out to 12 NSW communities during 2013, with events hosted in partnership with local Aboriginal community controlled health services and local health districts.
