Night Patrol Program (Rumbalara Aboriginal Cooperative Ltd)

Overview

Rumbalara Aboriginal Cooperative's Night Patrol Program provides a transport service for Aboriginal people in Shepparton, Victoria. The patrol aims to reduce the risk of Aboriginal people coming into negative contact with police and to reduce the likelihood of participating in risk taking behaviour.

The program operates every half-hour on Friday and Saturday nights from 10.30pm to 2.00am all year round. Primary pick up locations are the Queens Gardens and Skate Park in Shepparton.

This program is funded by the Department of Justice.
