Association of Alcohol and Other Drug Agencies Northern Territory (AADANT)



The Association of Alcohol and Other Drugs Agencies Northern Territory (AADANT), is the peak body for the non-government alcohol and other drug (AOD) sector in the Northern Territory. As an independent, membership-driven not-for-profit association, AADANT works with its members and stakeholders to strengthen and enhance specialist AOD treatment and support services for people who experience substance misuse issues in the NT through co-ordinated and evidenced based practices.

AADANT is committed to working together with its members to build the capacity of the sector through:

AADANT endeavours to advocate on behalf of the non-government AOD sector to ensure that the perspectives and requirements of our membership, consumers and the sector at large are reflected in any policy development or reform relative to AOD.

Delivers and facilitates a range of activities to support the NT NGO AOD sector's capacity to provide effective, sustainable and evidenced-based services to clients.

A range of initiatives and activities to support the NT AOD workforce including education, training, retention and recruitment and information dissemination.
