Applications open for Criminal property confiscation grants program

Attorney General Christian Porter launched the latest round of the Criminal property confiscation grants program on 2 May 2012.

The program allows Western Australian (WA) local governments and non-profit community groups to apply for grants to fund projects designed to:

The grants, worth up to $200,000, are allocated from a pool of funds seized under the WA State's proceeds of crime laws. The funding will be released to the successful applicants once they have met certain pre-conditions, including contributing in-kind support to the project they intend to run.

The closing date for applications is 5pm on June 29 2012. Further information can be found on the WA Department of the Attorney General's website.
