New corporate records database AcCord available for Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations and alcohol and other drugs sector

Date posted: 2 June 2017

A new database for managing corporate and company records at an AOD service has been launched at Namatjira Haven Drug and Alcohol Healing Centre on the far North Coast of New South Wales (NSW).

The Accountable Corporate Records Database (AcCord) has been designed specifically to help organisations to better keep records and improve compliance in quality management systems and reporting to funding bodies and government agencies.

'Over the last 15 years we have been purchasing, trialling and assisting others to develop databases for both client management and corporate records including HR,' says Manager, Dian Edwards. 'Nothing has ever come up to our needs and some have been really bad and cost a lot of money.'

'We have all been waiting a long time for a database like this and we have been working hard to get it to where it is now.'
